The AgPerspective Story

Something that fascinates us about farmers is how many things they must be good at to be successful – agronomy, equipment repair, finance, and marketing – to name just a few. And from our many years of working with growers, there is one area that consistently stands out as a major point of frustration – grain marketing.

AgPerspective Inc. was founded in 2003 by Brian and Krystal Freise out of a desire to help growers market their grain. More specifically, they wanted to show farmers how to use crop insurance to simplify their grain marketing decisions.

Brian learned crop insurance and grain marketing at the same time, and he was able to see how these two truly complement one another. By merging these processes together, he found that crop insurance was an often-underutilized tool for protecting price risk. He also realized that farmers were investing in trading strategies that were redundant, and that they were hesitant to trust their crop insurance policy to aid them in making forward sales at profitable levels.

 

AgPerspective then developed a proven process to help solve and simplify this for growers.  In 2012 we added a state-licensed grain dealership to assist in converting grain to cash.  Helping you to complete this final step in the grain marketing process is a significant part of what we do.

How we started back in 2003 continues to be how we help farmers today.
